Lawyer – Insurance Litigation (General Insurance)

About the role

Join a high‑performing General Insurance practice in Melbourne, working on complex, high‑profile public liability disputes for major Australian insurers, institutions and government bodies. You will manage matters from instruction through to resolution, with direct client contact.

Key responsibilities

• Work across public and product liability matters, including personal injury and property damage claims.
• Manage complex disputes for major insurers and government bodies under the guidance of Principal Lawyers.
• Take ownership of your matters and contribute directly to their outcomes.

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years post‑admission experience in insurance litigation, preferably with a general liability background.
• Genuine interest in public liability work and a strong work ethic.
• Initiative, autonomy and a collaborative approach.

Required skills

• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical abilities.
• High level of precision and attention to detail.
