Senior Analyst – Controls Assurance (Financial Services – Third Party)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Controls & Third‑Party Assurance team within the Audit & Assurance practice. You will work on financial services clients, applying audit methodology to provide assurance over internal controls and those operated by third‑party service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assess risk, test controls and produce assurance reports in line with ASAE 3402 and GS 007 standards.
• Support and progressively lead a portfolio of recurring and ad‑hoc engagements, setting project plans and conducting fieldwork.
• Develop client deliverables that are used by external auditors for financial reporting.
• Work with fund administrators, custodians, registry providers and superannuation trustees to build deep sector knowledge.
• Contribute to the evolution of the third‑party assurance service offering.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in external audit or accounting.
• Experience applying audit methodology to financial services engagements.
• Interest in specializing in controls assurance for third‑party providers.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ASAE 3402 assurance standard.
• Knowledge of GS 007 assurance standard.
• Understanding of technology controls such as access management and change management.
