Senior Actuarial Consultant

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant to join its Analytics Solutions team within the Risk Consulting Pacific division. The role is based in Sydney (Barangaroo) and operates in a hybrid model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality general insurance actuarial and risk analytics work across client engagements.
• Collaborate directly with clients, brokers, and senior stakeholders to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Coordinate delivery with onshore and offshore team members and mentor junior staff as the practice expands.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.

Required profile

• Relevant actuarial or broader insurance industry experience, preferably in general insurance.
• Background in an insurer or consulting environment with proven stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
