Associate/Engagement Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Associate/Engagement Manager to join its Financial Services practice in Sydney. You will work on complex strategy projects for top financial institutions, helping them navigate market, regulatory and operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Break down complex problems into discrete tasks and guide junior consultants.
• Plan and execute analyses, identify core issues, and craft recommendations.
• Work closely with clients and project teams to drive projects forward and manage small teams.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of relevant financial services experience, preferably from a top‑tier strategy consulting firm or in‑house strategy department.
• In‑depth knowledge of the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and ability to take initiative.
