Sales Engineer – HVAC Solutions

About the role

Join Trane Technologies in Perth as an Equipment Sales Engineer, supporting the sales team with HVAC system solutions and driving customer relationships. You will work on‑site five days a week, collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless project execution from consultation to post‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Support assigned sales managers and customers with HVAC product selections, applications, proposals and sales development.
• Achieve sales and customer development quotas through product acquisition and development.
• Utilise selection and pricing software to generate accurate equipment quotes.
• Coordinate orders with factories, manage delivery, and assist the service team with handovers and after‑sales queries.
• Travel to customer job sites, performing work in variable weather and mechanical environments.
• Participate in training programs, industry events and webinars to enhance technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent, or comparable experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in account management, mechanical contracting/HVAC or facilities management.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Valid Australian working visa.
