About the role

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive growth for our wholesale fuels business across the Northern Territory. The role involves managing customer relationships, expanding market share and delivering tailored fuel solutions to B2B and B2C clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of retail, agri‑business, marine, transport and mining customers.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the wholesale fuels market.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while protecting profit margins.
  • Keep the CRM system up‑to‑date with all opportunities and activities.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and manage debtor accounts in line with company policy.
  • Analyse commercial retail metrics to generate insights and drive follow‑up actions.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in sales, relationship management or a similar customer‑facing role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the state as required.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience using CRM software to track sales pipelines.
