Room Attendant

About the role

As a Room Attendant at ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley, you will be a key member of the Housekeeping team, ensuring every guest room is spotless and welcoming. Your work helps create memorable stays for guests visiting Melbourne and the surrounding attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, sanitising bathrooms and wiping surfaces.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with brand guidelines.
• Restock and organise housekeeping trolleys with required supplies.
• Handle cleaning materials safely and follow all health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning or room‑attendant roles is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient time‑management.
• Physical stamina to move between rooms and use stairs.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
