Guest Service Agent – Full‑Time & Part‑Time

About the role

Join the Front Office team at Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley and be the welcoming face of a busy, contemporary hotel. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival through departure, working on a flexible roster that includes mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, genuine welcome and manage check‑in/check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Handle reservations, room allocations and guest account transactions.
• Promote hotel facilities, services and Accor loyalty programmes.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless stays.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest records and comply with hotel procedures.
• Support daily Front Office operational requirements and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Professional presentation, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast‑paced environment.
• Unlimited working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Strong computer proficiency, preferably with hotel property management systems.
• Experience with Opera Cloud is highly regarded (not essential).
