About the role

Lucas Collective is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead one of its high‑performing kitchen teams. The role involves day‑to‑day leadership, ensuring exceptional food quality, service, and operational standards across the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen brigade and oversee daily operations.
• Maintain high food quality and service standards.
• Manage staff performance, including addressing unsatisfactory performance.
• Oversee food safety programs, documentation and compliance.
• Handle rostering, ordering, and control food and labour costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high‑volume kitchen.
• Track record of leading teams to deliver outcomes.
• Ability to manage staff performance and build effective relationships.
• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
