Revenue Officer

About the role

Frankston City Council's Revenue Services team is looking for a Revenue Officer to assist with the day-to-day functions of the team so that organisational deadlines are met. This is a temporary full-time position for 12 months, currently remunerated at $74,536.73 per annum plus superannuation, with overtime paid as required.

Key responsibilities

• Administer pension concession applications and maintain accurate customer records
• Process direct debit applications and monthly direct debit transactions
• Manage refunds, waste service charges and adjustments in line with Council policies
• Provide high-quality customer service and respond to enquiries about rates and revenue services
• Contribute to efficient delivery of Revenue Services through accurate processing and effective administration

Required profile

• Experience delivering high-quality customer service in a busy administrative environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to respond professionally to customer enquiries
• Proven organisational skills, managing competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Sound administrative and computer skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
