Revenue Manager

About the role

Accor is hiring a Revenue Manager for its 252-room ibis Styles East Perth hotel, a 4-star property in the Central Business District of Perth, Western Australia. The role leads revenue strategy across pricing, forecasting, commercial analysis and cross-department coordination, and involves overseeing the Reservations team.

Key responsibilities

• Daily operations: monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room nights and revenue against forecast, budget and prior year, and correct data quality issues
• Manage rates, room-type availability, overbooking and restrictions through IDeaS G3 RMS and the Accor Reservation System, responding to demand, booking pace, rate parity and promotions
• Use STR, Lighthouse and other intelligence to track competitors, market share and demand drivers such as Perth events
• Maintain day-to-day and two-month forecasts, flagging occupancy changes, commercial opportunities and operational risks to the General Manager and department heads
• Price group and corporate enquiries, run displacement and net-contribution analysis, and review corporate production with Sales and Reservations
• Oversee Reservations (1 Reservations Manager and 1 FTE), including rostering, leave, performance, timesheets and training, and coordinate with hotel departments and external stakeholders
• Monthly: prepare performance, variance, segmentation and STR reports, maintain rolling forecasts and three-month financial projections, and evaluate OTA/direct mix, distribution costs and commissions
• Annual: help set the rooms budget, occupancy/ADR/RevPAR targets and pricing plans, and support corporate, government, leisure and group contracting, RFPs and rate reviews

Required profile

• 2 years of previous experience
• A motivated, proactive professional with passion and drive for results

Required skills

• Opera Cloud, IDeaS G3 RMS, Lighthouse, STR, Fornova and Accor reservation/distribution systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of distribution networks
