Reservations Agent

About the role

The hotel is seeking an enthusiastic, customer‑oriented Reservations Agent to join the Reservations team on a full‑time basis. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will promote and sell accommodation, services and facilities while providing 5‑star service to corporate accounts, travel agents, tour operators and VIP guests.

Key responsibilities

• Enter all reservations accurately into the Opera PMS system.
• Upsell accommodation to increase average room rate while maintaining occupancy.
• Liaise with the Revenue Manager on rates, packages and over‑booking situations.
• Coordinate special requests with relevant departments before guest arrival.
• Provide personal service to guest requirements and follow through to completion.
• Work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Entry‑level, customer‑focused with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills with guests, management and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Experience with Opera Cloud property management system (or similar Opera PMS).
