Remote Sales Specialist – 12‑month contract

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Sales Specialist to support its Animal Health segment across Australia and New Zealand. This 12‑month contract role combines outbound prospecting, virtual customer engagement, and collaboration with field sales teams to drive territory growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive remote sales activities across assigned accounts to meet or exceed targets.
• Identify, qualify, develop and close opportunities through cold‑calling and lead generation.
• Promote Medtronic products and value propositions via virtual interactions.
• Partner with field sales representatives to coordinate customer activities and support territory plans.
• Analyse sales data to uncover trends and prioritize actions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with 6+ years sales experience, or Associate’s Degree with 4+ years, or Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of sales/commercial experience.
• Proven experience in outbound phone‑based sales, cold calling and lead generation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer interactions and develop opportunities remotely.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
