About the role

The Deloraine District Hospital is seeking a Relief Enrolled Nurse to support its 20‑bed acute care facility. This casual, fully rotational position provides flexible shift work across palliative, post‑surgical and general medical care, helping to maintain high‑quality patient services in the Meander Valley.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Collect comprehensive clinical data from patients, families and carers.
• Prioritise patient care tasks in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Adhere to Work Health and Safety legislation and relevant codes of practice.

Required profile

• Current enrolment as an Enrolled Nurse with a valid registration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, practices and evidence‑based care.
• Ability to work flexibly in a shift‑based, rotational roster.
• Understanding of WHS legislation and hospital policies.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and documentation.
• Effective communication with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic health records.
