Relationship Manager, Institutional Growth Portfolio

About the role

As a Relationship Manager within the Growth Portfolio, you will manage a portfolio of Institutional Banking clients, providing end‑to‑end support across their banking requirements. This hybrid role combines client coverage, risk & analysis activities and PCM account management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deepen strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with internal policies and non‑financial risk requirements.
• Oversee risk & analysis activities and maintain a well‑managed portfolio, addressing customer and portfolio needs promptly.
• Grow PCM requirements of the portfolio, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and support broader business growth.
• Demonstrate ANZ’s core values in all interactions with customers, colleagues and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Commerce, Business, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Experience in customer and relationship management with a solid understanding of banking processes, policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills to navigate the ANZ network and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen to identify business drivers, assess risks and make sound recommendations.
• Proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and own customer outcomes.
