Rehabilitation Consultant (Psychology, Rehab Counsellor, Social Work)

About the role

Support people to rebuild confidence, independence and hope as they recover from injury or illness. You will guide clients through assessment, goal setting and tailored rehabilitation plans, helping them return to work and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients' rehabilitation needs via physical, ergonomic, psychosocial or functional capacity evaluations.
• Provide expert advice on workplace modifications and the return‑to‑work process.
• Co‑design and deliver personalised rehabilitation plans and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with employers, healthcare providers, treating practitioners and insurers to manage cases end‑to‑end.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work.
• Registration with AHPRA, ASORC or AASW (provisional acceptable).
• Full Australian working rights, driver’s licence and willingness to work in varied settings.
• Strong commitment to client‑centred care, empathy and professional integrity.
