Registered Nurse – Occupational Health

About the role

This position is for a Registered Nurse to deliver occupational health and pre‑employment assessments for a growing health services provider serving the mining, resources and industrial sectors in Port Hedland. The role involves conducting a range of medical examinations and supporting candidates and clients with professional, respectful care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑employment medical examinations, health history screening, vision, audiometry, spirometry and musculoskeletal assessments.
• Conduct urine drug and alcohol screening, ECGs and blood sample collection when required.
• Carry out hearing and respiratory protection fit testing and provide accurate reporting, summaries and referrals.
• Collaborate with doctors, results, bookings, quality‑control and operations teams.
• Support medical results quality control and follow‑up of pending results.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification and a valid driver’s licence.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to provide a current police clearance.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance, with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close‑knit team.
