Registered Nurse

About the role

Respect Aged Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents across its facilities. The RN will work closely with the Care Manager and General Manager to ensure high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive resident histories and participate in admissions and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation that reflects care delivery.
• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans.
• Provide direct clinical care, including personal hygiene, massage therapy, pain management, and support during GP rounds.
• Administer medications and manage ordering, storage, and documentation in line with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Standards.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Understanding of government standards for aged‑care delivery and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
• Strong clinical and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with the aged‑care accreditation process and Aged Care Worker Screening requirements.
