Registered Nurse – Aged Care Rehabilitation (Casual)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the inpatient aged‑care rehabilitation ward at War Memorial Hospital in Waverley. This casual role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to older patients undergoing rehabilitation, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for aged‑care rehabilitation patients.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient‑centred goals and health outcomes.
• Adhere to practice guidelines set by AHPRA and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safe medication administration.
• Participate in quality‑improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a hospital setting.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient safety.
