Registered Nurse – Aged Care

About the role

Respect Aged Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, competent, and contemporary clinical care to older residents across its facilities. Reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, the RN will play a key part in maintaining high standards of aged‑care services.

Key responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive resident histories and participate in admissions and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation that reflects care delivery and develop resident care plans.
• Provide direct clinical care, including personal hygiene, massage therapy, pain management, and support during GP rounds.
• Administer medications, ensuring correct ordering, storage, and documentation in line with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale, aged‑care standards, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Understanding of aged‑care accreditation and government standards.
