Regional Financial Controller – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

Acclime is looking for an experienced, commercially‑minded Regional Financial Controller to oversee finance operations across Australia and New Zealand. The role acts as a strategic partner to regional leadership, delivering accurate reporting, strong governance and actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial results for the ANZ region.
• Produce management reports, KPIs, variance analysis and performance dashboards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts and long‑term financial planning.
• Maintain and strengthen the regional control environment, ensuring compliance with Group policies, local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate statutory financial reporting with local teams, external advisors and regulators.
• Partner with regional and country leaders on business cases, investment evaluations, pricing strategies and scenario modelling.
• Drive audit coordination, resolve findings promptly and implement remediation plans.
• Identify financial and operational risks and promote continuous improvement through process optimisation and system transformation.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading finance functions in a multi‑entity environment.
• Commercially‑oriented with the ability to provide strategic financial insights.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Excellent governance and risk‑management capabilities.
