Regional Director, RI & Engineering Sales

About the role

We are looking for a senior sales leader to head our Academic & Government solutions across Australia and New Zealand. The Regional Director, RI & Engineering Sales will shape and execute a unified sales strategy, lead a multidisciplinary team, and drive sustainable growth in the technology market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive ANZ solutions sales strategy that aligns specialist teams into a high‑performing regional organisation.
• Build an inclusive team culture focused on accountability, commercial excellence and customer value.
• Lead organisational transformation initiatives to capture growth opportunities.
• Influence and mobilise internal stakeholders to support strategic business initiatives and customer opportunities.
• Provide clear direction, ensure alignment and disciplined execution across a complex matrix environment.
• Coach and develop Account Managers, fostering a high‑performance, ownership‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a sales leader in the technology sector, with a track record of delivering commercial results.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with disciplined execution capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships, influence stakeholders and drive alignment in a matrix organisation.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams, promoting accountability and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and change‑management skills.
