Rates Solutions Sales – Associate/VP

About the role

The Interest Rates Sales Specialist will promote a broad range of banking products, including foreign exchange and rates derivatives, to Japanese and global corporate clients across Australia. You will work closely with Relationship Managers to deliver tailored solutions and support the bank’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the bank’s suite of products – FX, derivatives and rates solutions – to corporate banking clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
• Provide up‑to‑date market analysis and macro‑economic insights to help clients make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Global Markets FX Sales, and Corporate & Investment Bank teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies throughout all marketing and sales activities.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in derivatives sales, particularly rates derivatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business or a related field.
• Proven ability to analyse macro‑economic indicators and communicate market updates.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills across multiple departments.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and professional conduct.
