Quarry Manager

About the role

Boral is seeking a Quarry Manager for its Cosgrove Quarry to lead daily operations, ensure safety, and drive performance and profit targets. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee a diverse team and manage both the quarry pit and crushing site.

Key responsibilities

• Ultimate responsibility for safety performance on both the quarry pit and crushing site.
• Drive achievement of production targets and manage extraction, production and inventory planning.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of operators.
• Manage environmental compliance, quality control and customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in quarry, construction or mining environments.
• Experience managing budgets, site P&L and financial outcomes.
• Strong people‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to engage with community and build stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Crushing and screening process expertise.
• Budgeting and financial management.
• Site profit‑and‑loss (P&L) oversight.
