Property Manager - 12 Month Fixed-Term Maternity Leave Coverage

About the role

Minor Hotels AU & NZ is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join MINT Residential in Melbourne on a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave coverage. The role covers a boutique portfolio of fewer than 150 Minor Hotels branded apartments (Oaks Hotels, Avani Hotels) and offers potential to become permanent. It is based in the Melbourne CBD office, Monday to Friday, with very limited Saturday work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of Minor Hotels branded apartments
• Handle incoming rental enquiries with exceptional customer service
• Carry out routine, entry and exit inspections
• Communicate effectively with tenants
• Draft and support the administration of leasing and property handovers
• Address maintenance issues and liaise with tradespeople
• Use the console cloud program for property management

Required profile

• Class 2 licence
• Minimum 2 years of property management experience
• Ability to build lasting relationships with tenants, owners and stakeholders
• Strong time management and teamwork skills, able to work autonomously
• Availability to work Saturdays on an ad hoc basis

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of property management procedures and current legislation requirements
• Communication skills
