Project Supervisor – Commercial Subcontractor

About the role

Take ownership of commercial project delivery with an established South Australian subcontractor, coordinating multiple projects across Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders. This hands‑on role is suited to someone who enjoys being on‑site, coordinating people and keeping projects moving.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise multiple commercial projects and coordinate day‑to‑day site activities.
• Coordinate installers, trades, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Project Managers and builders to maintain project programmes.
• Plan materials, deliveries, labour and site requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and progress against programme.
• Conduct site inspections and manage defects through to completion.
• Liaise with builders, Site Managers and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and disruption.
• Maintain WHS requirements and safe working practices.
• Support project handover, completion and close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Practical, organised and proactive construction professional.
• Experience in commercial or residential construction, subcontracting or a related trade environment.
• Experience coordinating trades, installers, subcontractors and site activities.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, site coordination and project requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with builders, clients, suppliers and trades.
• Proactive, hands‑on and solutions‑focused approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
