Project Manager – Water

About the role

Beca HunterH2O is seeking an intermediate‑level Project Manager with a background or strong interest in the water industry. Based in Canberra, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders and a multidisciplinary engineering team to plan, develop and deliver water infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and internal engineers throughout project planning and development phases.
• Assist clients in managing construction activities and ensure delivery aligns with project objectives.
• Apply PMBOK‑based delivery frameworks to manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, procurement, risk and resources.
• Support the preparation of business cases, contracts and partnership agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, commerce or a related field.
• Desire to pursue chartership with Engineers Australia or a comparable professional body.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and excellent communication skills.
• Experience or interest in water‑industry design and engineering principles.
