Project Manager - PPM Delivery

About the role

Sensei ELMO is looking for a Project Manager who is more than a traditional project coordinator. Project Managers act as hands-on delivery consultants leading Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) implementations from sales handover through delivery, UAT, hypercare and transition to support. You will own the client relationship and the commercial delivery of the engagement, working closely with consultants and developers on what gets delivered and how.

Key responsibilities

• Own client engagements from sales handover through delivery, UAT, hypercare and handover to support.
• Lead the overall project, including scope, schedule, budget, governance, risks, issues, resourcing and change control.
• Build strong client relationships and manage conversations around priorities, scope, timelines, commercial boundaries and delivery risk.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements sessions, and turn requirements into delivery-ready user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a prioritised delivery backlog using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent.
• Support sprint-based delivery, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, UAT, defect management and release coordination.
• Run client workshops, demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions and, where needed, end-user or train-the-trainer sessions.
• Help clients make informed trade-offs between scope, time, cost and quality, and escalate risks early with practical options.
• Work across multiple concurrent client engagements and support pre-sales activities such as discovery, demonstrations, estimates and proposals.
• Share lessons and improvements that help strengthen the delivery approach and PPM capability.

Required profile

• Technically curious and able to understand the solution being delivered, without needing to be a developer.
• Comfortable working across business and technical conversations and knowing when deeper technical input is required.
• Able to make decisions, manage competing priorities and keep clients and delivery teams moving in a fast-paced environment.
