Project Manager – Design & Construction

About the role

Lead the delivery of new restaurant builds, relocations, refurbishments and enhancement projects across Australia and New Zealand, taking them from concept through to handover while ensuring safety, quality and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from design development through tendering, construction and handover.
• Partner with architects, designers, consultants, shopfitters and contractors to achieve outstanding outcomes.
• Review construction costs, budgets and forecasts to ensure strong commercial performance.
• Drive project timelines, proactively manage risks, issues and stakeholder expectations.
• Support evolution of restaurant formats, including drive‑thru and customer experience initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with Operations teams for seamless handovers.

Required profile

• Commercially minded project professional with experience managing retail, hospitality or multi‑site construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence interpreting project costs and business cases.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Passion for hospitality, customer experience and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience with drive‑thru projects (highly regarded).
