Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager – Renewables

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer, Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of major wind farm projects across Australia. The role is full‑time, permanent and based in Melbourne or Brisbane, with regular site travel (approximately two weeks per month) and all travel expenses covered.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with project planning, delivery and reporting.
- Coordinate project preparation, including equipment, PPE, travel and accommodation.
- Support project schedules, cost tracking, budgets, invoicing and forecasting.
- Maintain project documentation, dashboards, reports and records.
- Liaise with clients, site teams, suppliers, QA, HSE and internal departments.
- Help with project close‑out, lessons learned and improvement actions.
Required profile
- Strong experience in project engineering, coordination or site administration within construction, renewables or wind energy.
- Comfortable working with blue‑collar and site‑based teams.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, planning and communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving project environment.
