Construction Manager – Terminal Station

About the role

The Site Construction Manager – Terminal Station leads end‑to‑end delivery of the Joel Joel Terminal Station for the Western Renewables Link project, overseeing all civil, structural, electrical and building works from site access to construction verification.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall site leadership, governance and communication pathways for the Terminal Station construction.
• Plan, coordinate and manage construction sequencing, interfaces and logistics across all disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, schedule and cost requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect critical milestones.
• Manage subcontractor performance, cost control, productivity monitoring and commercial claims.
• Act as primary interface with engineering, commercial, HSE, logistics, project controls and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 15+ years delivering major infrastructure, energy or industrial projects, including terminal stations or substations.
• Proven senior site leadership experience managing large teams and multiple subcontractors.
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen with risk management experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision‑making skills in high‑pressure environments.
