Production Technician – Lithium Plant

About the role

TLEA, a joint venture between Tianqi Lithium and IGO Ltd, is recruiting a full-time Technician Production to work on a roster at its Kwinana plant. The successful applicant will safely operate all aspects of the processing plant, helping Tianqi Lithium Kwinana commission the plant on time and within budget. The role suits someone with prior experience in brownfield operations and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the processing plant safely and handle the challenges of running a processing plan
• Read changing situations quickly and stay calm under pressure and during high workload
• Prioritise workload within the work group and work in a planned, organised way
• Communicate clearly with team members and collaborate to meet safety and production targets
• Train others within the process plant and take part in toolbox meetings, shift handovers and skills training
• Carry out regular inspections of plant areas, eliminate and control hazards, and report faults and breakdowns
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping

Required profile

• Prior experience in brownfield operations and environments
• Clear communicator, customer-focused and able to build relationships
• Committed to the safety and well-being of self and team members

Required skills

• Overhead crane operation
• Mobile equipment: front-end loader, skid steer, EWP, forklift
• Working at heights
• Confined space entry
• Cert III in process plant operations or equivalent (desirable)
• Emergency response experience and training/assessor certification (desirable)
