Quality Advisor

About the role

Pact Group's Packaging division manufactures and supplies rigid plastic and metal packaging for consumer and industrial markets, and partners with global brands and local dairy producers on sustainable packaging. The Quality Advisor is accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality Management System across the site, working under the direction of the Site Manager. The role drives compliance with certification and PACT Group requirements, addresses quality and environmental concerns and supports zero-harm outcomes with high customer satisfaction and lower plant costs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site quality and compliance programs.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and certification standards.
• Drive quality investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
• Promote a strong quality and safety culture through coaching, training and continuous improvement.
• Support site HSE initiatives, including risk assessments, audits and hazard management.

Required profile

• Experience in a Quality, QA or Quality Systems role within manufacturing.
• Tertiary qualification in Science, Manufacturing or Engineering, or 3 years of Quality Management experience.
• Proven experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive change.
• Experience conducting internal audits; HACCP and food safety experience desirable.
• Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety requirements in manufacturing.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000 or similar quality standards.
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis.
