Production / Packing Technician

About the role

TLEA, a joint venture between Tianqi Lithium and IGO Ltd, is looking for a full-time Production / Packing Technician to join its packaging team at the Kwinana plant. The role covers the operation of automated bagging plants, warehousing and dispatch of final bagged product on a 12-hour roster, and includes training staff and developing safe work instructions and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automated bulk bagging plants, warehouse storage areas and logistics movements
• Train staff and develop safe work instructions and procedures
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Carry out regular inspections of plant areas and eliminate and control hazards
• Report faults and breakdowns promptly

Required profile

• Previous relevant experience, ideally in brownfield operations and environments
• High-risk forklift licence (required)
• RS reach stacker licence desirable
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continuously changing environment

Required skills

• Materials handling, warehouse storage and logistics, including forklift operation
• Mobile equipment operation
• Experience with scanner/barcoding equipment preferred
• Exposure to manual or semi-automated bagging plants and the permit-to-work system desirable
