Plant Operator – Quarry Weighbridge & Loader

About the role

Join the team at Shadforth Quarry, one of Australia’s leading building and construction materials suppliers. The role is primarily a Weighbridge Operator with additional plant operating duties and manual labour as needed. You will work closely with the Quarry Manager to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and process heavy vehicles entering and exiting the plant.
• Operate the weighbridge, ticketing incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Prepare and process dockets.
• Ensure visitors comply with OHS requirements and induction procedures.
• Load road trucks with finished product.
• Perform general site duties such as shovelling, lifting (10–15 kg) and plant cleaning.
• Support continuous improvement and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Experience as a weighbridge operator.
• Experience operating sales loaders and/or mobile crushing equipment.
• Team‑player mindset with willingness to learn and pitch in when needed.
