Business Development Manager

About the role

An established scaffolding contractor is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the Sydney construction market. You will identify and convert new project opportunities while building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across the NSW market.
• Build relationships with Tier 1, Tier 2 and mid‑tier builders.
• Engage developers, project managers, estimators and procurement teams.
• Identify upcoming projects and tender opportunities.
• Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Work closely with operations and estimating teams to deliver winning solutions.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a BDM, Sales Manager or Account Manager position.
• Strong construction industry network.
• Experience within scaffolding, access, hire, temporary works, formwork or construction services.
• Demonstrated success in winning new business.
• Commercially driven with a proactive approach.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
