Planning Analyst

About the role

Join Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group in Sydney as a Business Planning Analyst, supporting strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency and capability across Oceania. You will work closely with regional offices and internal stakeholders, providing data‑driven insights, process improvements and governance for key business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on KPIs and Balanced Scorecards, ensuring accurate governance across functions.
• Coordinate communication and stakeholder engagement between management, regional offices and support functions.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, dashboards and business documentation for decision‑making.
• Conduct business analysis to develop frameworks, tools and processes that improve operational effectiveness.
• Manage data‑collection activities, identify efficiency opportunities and support high‑impact projects.

Required profile

• Experience in banking operations or corporate finance, with exposure to KPI or Balanced Scorecard systems.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent time‑management and communication skills, able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Law; professional qualifications (CA, CFA, MBA) are a plus.
