Pharmacist – Primary Healthcare (Defence)

About the role

Join a supportive multidisciplinary team at Enoggera Health Centre, providing primary healthcare to Defence members. As a pharmacist you will ensure safe, effective medication management in a unique civilian role within a military environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate dispensing services in line with clinical standards.
• Manage medication inventory and support efficient pharmacy operations.
• Promote safe and effective medication use for patients and clinicians.
• Provide technical advice and support to health practitioners.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, Defence policies, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
• Minimum 2 years post‑internship experience in hospital, community or Defence pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of medication safety, dispensing and inventory management.
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) and commitment to ongoing CPD.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Australian citizenship for required security clearance (membership of PSA or SHPA desirable).
