About the role

Join Ramsay Pharmacy at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital as the Pharmacist in Charge. You will lead all pharmacy operations, ensuring top‑class patient care, medication safety, and regulatory compliance within a busy private hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services and oversee medication management for in‑patients.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary pharmacy team.
• Maintain compliance with TGA, AHPRA and hospital accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, budgets and operational efficiency.
• Drive innovative pharmacy practices and continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist.
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting (preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and high‑quality care.
