Personal Care Worker - Corowa Court

About the role

Benetas is recruiting several Permanent Part-Time Personal Care Workers for its Corowa Court aged care facility in Mornington, Victoria. The work is person-centred care and support for residents, with fixed AM and PM roster patterns available. Pay is $37-$40 per hour plus superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care, mobility and activities of daily living
• Provide respectful, individualised care in line with residents' care plans and preferences
• Help residents maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing
• Observe and report changes in residents' needs or condition
• Work with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection prevention, manual handling and workplace safety requirements

Available shifts

• AM shifts: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm; PM shifts: 2:45 pm to 10:00 pm
• A range of permanent part-time patterns across weekdays and weekends, including combinations such as Monday-Tuesday, Tuesday-Wednesday, Thursday-Friday, and longer blocks; applicants must state which patterns they can commit to

Required profile

• Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or Aged Care, or a related qualification, or completed the first year of nursing studies and placements
• Experience working in an aged care environment
• Passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain one
