Disability Support Worker & Accounts Clerk

About the role

Dimensions Support Australia (MyDSA), a registered NDIS provider in Cairns, is looking for a Disability Support Worker and an Accounts Clerk to join its team. The advertised salary is $79,000 - $85,000.

Key responsibilities

• Disability Support Worker: support clients with personal care and daily living activities, accompany them on outings, assist with mobility, prepare meals, clean and do laundry, arrange social and recreational activities, follow each client's support plan, record care notes and observations.
• Accounts Clerk: allocate expenditure to budget accounts, investigate costs of proposed spending, quotations and estimates, prepare cost, inventory, pricing and profit reports, maintain records and filing systems, handle correspondence and office administration, and support the team with data entry and reporting.

Required profile

• Certificate II or III, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support; at least 1 year of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
• Disability Support Worker: NDIS Worker Screening Check, current National Police Check and First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Accounts Clerk: Certificate II or III, with relevant experience possibly required.
