Permanent Part-Time Enrolled Nurse - Dementia Care

About the role

HammondCare Strathearn House in Scone is looking for a compassionate, experienced permanent part-time Enrolled Nurse to join its residential care team. The role uses clinical skills alongside Registered Nurses, care staff and allied health professionals to deliver person-centred dementia care in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver resident-focused nursing care in line with individual care plans
• Monitor resident health and report changes in condition
• Administer medications within scope of practice
• Assist with clinical documentation and assessments
• Promote resident comfort, wellbeing and quality of life
• Use the LeeCare electronic reporting system
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary teams

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Ideally 1-2 years' experience in aged care, dementia care or a related healthcare setting
• Genuine passion for improving the lives of older people
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Required skills

• Sound clinical and assessment skills within scope of practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good administrative and computer skills
