Allied Health Professional – Physiotherapy/Exercise/OT

About the role

HammondCare in Scone is seeking a qualified Allied Health Professional – Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Occupational Therapist – for a 7‑month maternity‑leave contract. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering resident‑centred, evidence‑based care in our residential homes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents in maintaining or restoring optimal function and wellbeing.
• Provide physiotherapy services, assess functional mobility, set care goals and deliver appropriate treatment.
• Offer advice and support to carers and HammondCare staff.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• Experience in rehabilitation, aged care or palliative care is highly regarded.
• Current driver’s licence with a safe driving record and willingness to travel between sites.

Required skills

• Physiotherapy assessment and treatment techniques.
• Exercise physiology program design.
