People & Culture Officer (12‑month contract)

About the role

OC Real Estate is seeking a People & Culture Officer on a 12‑month contract to champion employee experience across the business. Based in our Eastwood office, you will support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to off‑boarding, while driving wellbeing, learning and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to design and execute recruitment campaigns, including job ads, interviews and hiring decisions.
• Lead onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience and continuous improvement.
• Provide advice and support on employee relations, workplace policies and People & Culture matters.
• Coordinate learning & development, wellbeing, reward, recognition and performance review programmes.
• Maintain compliance with employment legislation, awards, policies and HR systems.
• Contribute to People & Culture projects and process enhancements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture role with strong recruitment knowledge.
• Passion for creating positive employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (preferred).
