Pastry Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our hotel kitchen team. You will work across a variety of pastry operations, creating high‑quality, beautifully presented products for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finish pastry items for Conferences & Events, Banquets, À La Carte, Coffee Breaks, Afternoon Tea and other F&B outlets.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and allergen management standards.
• Prioritise production to meet business demands while ensuring consistency and quality.
• Meet production deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Relevant Trade Qualification in Patisserie or Pastry.
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced hotel, restaurant or high‑volume pastry environment.
• Strong practical pastry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.
• Flexible to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
