Paralegal – Commercial Law Team (Perth)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a dynamic commercial law team in the foothills of Kalamunda, Perth. The successful candidate will provide proactive, highly organised support to the firm’s Principal and commercial disputes team, ensuring smooth case management and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct paralegal and administrative assistance to the Principal and commercial disputes team.
• Manage diaries, prepare legal documents and court filings, and handle correspondence.
• Prepare briefs for counsel, liaise with clients, barristers, courts and tribunals.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems and perform data entry.
• Monitor deadlines, track client and matter lists, and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Deliver general administrative support and exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Experienced paralegal with a strong background in commercial litigation.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Residency in Perth with full, long‑term working rights in Australia.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
