Paediatric Occupational Therapist

About the role

A multidisciplinary paediatric clinic in Burwood East, serving children under 18, is looking for an Occupational Therapist. The clinic has a team of 25 professionals and has cared for paediatric clients for over 10 years. The role involves individual and group therapy programs, including specialised feeding programs, with a billable expectation of 24 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group therapy programs, including specialised feeding programs
• Work with an NDIS caseload of paediatric clients aged mostly 3-16, primarily diagnosed with ASD, mental health and other neurological conditions
• Work mainly from the clinic, with occasional visits to schools, preschools and kindergartens within 8 km of the clinic

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2+ years of postgraduate experience
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Openness to working as either a permanent employee or a subcontractor
