Optometrist – Joondalup Store

About the role

Join Specsavers’ Joondalup store as a full‑time Optometrist, delivering high‑volume eye care to a diverse community. You will work in a modern clinic equipped with cutting‑edge technology and collaborate with a strong team of 10 optometrists.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric, myopia management and orthokeratology.
• Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment such as OCT scans, HFA‑3 visual fields, auto‑phoropters, autorefractors and non‑contact tonometry for accurate assessments.
• Provide clinical advice and prescribe corrective lenses, including RGP and specialty contact lenses.

Required profile

• Qualified Optometrist with registration to practice in Australia.
• Experience in high‑volume retail eye‑care settings is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OCT scanning and visual field testing (HFA‑3).
• Competence in using auto‑phoropters, autorefractors and non‑contact tonometry.
• Knowledge of pediatric eye care, myopia control, orthokeratology and dry‑eye management.
