Experienced Veterinary Nurse (Full‑Time)

About the role

Greencross Vets Joondalup is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join a close‑knit team of nurses, receptionists and veterinarians. This full‑time position offers the chance to work across a diverse caseload, supporting both medical and surgical nursing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general nursing duties including pre‑ and post‑operative care and monitoring anaesthesia.
• Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, procedures and emergency cases.
• Support pathology, diagnostic procedures and hospital nursing.
• Provide client communication, education and occasional reception support.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control throughout the clinic.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
• Strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures and confidence in both medical and surgical nursing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive, team‑focused attitude with strong organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with RxWorks (preferred but not essential).
