Community Engagement Coordinator

About the role

The University of Canberra is looking for a creative and energetic Community Engagement Coordinator to connect students with the support, resources, and services offered by the UC Medical & Counselling Centre. You will champion student health and wellbeing through campaigns, events, digital content and partnerships across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver health promotion campaigns, wellbeing initiatives and community engagement activities.
• Plan and facilitate health‑themed events and activities for students.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate on innovative communication and engagement strategies.
• Create, coordinate and distribute engaging digital and print promotional materials.
• Manage and maintain online communication channels.

Required profile

• Experience in community engagement, health promotion, communications, marketing, events or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate events, campaigns or engagement activities.
• Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Digital literacy and proficiency in creating engaging content across multiple platforms.
